Confluence is a joint initiative with Margaret River Region Open Studios and Saltwater Gallery, Busselton.
The exhibition brings together more than 80 artists, each showcasing a single work that offers a glimpse into their creative practice ahead of Margaret River Region Open Studios.

The work I chose is Calling Trough the Dark.
Country sings in its own rhythm, shaped by pauses, silence and the long breath of the land.
Against the backdrop of brooding skies in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia, a white-tailed black cockatoo flies past a bare tree, his call echoing across the landscape. ‘Calling Through the Dark’ captures a moment of connection between the bird, dark skies and landscape.
